What this policy covers

This policy describes cookies, browser local storage, and comparable technologies used by FreeFileFast or, when enabled, its service providers. A cookie is a small value a website asks a browser to retain. Local storage is a related browser feature that can remember a preference on a device.

Strictly necessary technologies

Hosting, security, network delivery, and consent tools may use storage that is strictly necessary to deliver the site, protect it, remember a privacy choice, or honor a request. Where applicable law permits, these technologies do not depend on consent because the requested service cannot operate reliably without them.

Functional local preferences

FreeFileFast may use browser local storage to remember a theme, recent tool routes, and consent choices. These preferences stay on the device and do not intentionally contain selected file contents. Blocking or clearing them may reset preferences but does not prevent basic local file processing.

Analytics technologies

When a provider is configured, analytics technologies may help measure page use, performance, and errors. They load only when applicable privacy controls permit them. Analytics events must never contain selected file information or generated results.

Advertising technologies

FreeFileFast is an advertising-supported service. When an approved advertising provider is configured, advertising technologies may be used to select, deliver, limit, secure, or measure advertisements as permitted by applicable privacy controls.

Your consent choices

Where consent is required, FreeFileFast offers choices to accept all, reject nonessential technologies, or manage analytics and advertising separately. Continued use of the website by itself is not consent to nonessential technologies.

You can reopen Privacy Choices to review, withdraw, or modify a choice. A change applies to future loading and processing; a provider may still need to retain limited records where legally required. Browser settings can also block or delete storage, but those settings may not communicate every consent signal a provider requires.

Provider and regional requirements

A local preference interface does not by itself satisfy every legal or advertising-platform requirement. Before serving Google advertising in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, FreeFileFast must configure a Google-certified consent-management platform where required. Active providers and their retention practices will be identified when enabled.

Changes and contact

This policy will be updated when technologies or providers change. Questions about storage or consent choices may be sent to support@freefilefast.com.
