Terms of Use
The rules, responsibilities, and limitations that apply when you use FreeFileFast.
Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms govern access to and use of FreeFileFast. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for it. Do not use the service if you cannot lawfully agree to these Terms.
Lawful use and file rights
You are responsible for your files, instructions, downloaded results, and compliance with applicable law and third-party rights. You must have the legal right and any required permission to process every file you select.
- Do not use FreeFileFast to obtain or download third-party media.
- Do not circumvent passwords, paywalls, copy protection, access controls, technical restrictions, or security measures.
- Do not use the service for unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, malicious, harassing, privacy-invasive, or abusive activity.
- Do not interfere with the service, probe other users or systems, introduce malicious code, automate abusive traffic, or misrepresent advertisements as service controls.
Advertising-supported service
FreeFileFast is provided without a user fee and is supported, in whole or in part, by advertising. Advertisements, sponsored content, or promotional placements may appear within or alongside the service. By using the service, you acknowledge that advertising may form part of the user experience.
Accepting these Terms does not itself constitute consent to nonessential cookies, personalized advertising, or analytics where separate consent is required by applicable law. Ad availability may depend on consent choices, ad blockers, inventory, network conditions, and provider policies. You are never required to click an ad to use a tool or download a result.
Local processing and technical limits
File processing occurs on your device. Results depend on browser and operating-system capabilities, hardware, available memory, source-file validity, codecs, and selected settings. FreeFileFast does not guarantee that every file, file size, format, browser, or device will work, or that processing will complete without interruption.
Metadata removal and re-encoding are convenience functions, not forensic erasure guarantees. They do not prove that copies, hidden information, or recoverable data do not exist elsewhere.
Your files and results
You retain your rights in files and results; these Terms do not give FreeFileFast ownership of them. Keep independent backups of source files and inspect downloaded results before replacing an original or relying on an output. You are responsible for deciding whether a result is suitable, accurate, lawful, and safe for your use.
Service and intellectual property
FreeFileFast and its interface, branding, documentation, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms permit use of the service, but do not grant a right to copy the branding, reverse engineer restricted portions, or exploit the service in violation of law.
Tools, limits, supported formats, and availability may be corrected, changed, suspended, or discontinued. FreeFileFast may restrict access reasonably needed to protect users, the service, providers, or legal rights.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, FreeFileFast disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, and warranties arising from course of dealing. FreeFileFast does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, preservation of data, or compatibility with every file. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FreeFileFast is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary loss, or for loss of data, business, revenue, or opportunity arising from use of or inability to use the service. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including any liability that applicable law makes nonwaivable. Your jurisdiction may provide additional rights.
Changes to these Terms
FreeFileFast may update these Terms to reflect service, provider, security, or legal changes. The Last updated date will identify the current version, and material changes will receive additional notice when appropriate. Continued use after an update takes effect means the updated Terms apply, subject to any consent or notice required by law.
